For sea and air shipments destined for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), the FERI (Fiche Electronique de Renseignement à l’Importation) is mandatory.

Documents Required for the Issuance of the FERI RD Congo:
- Copy of Bill of Lading (B/L) (For opening: Draft B/L) or AWB (Air Waybill)
- Copy of Commercial Invoice (Commercial Invoice) detailed with Incoterm, HS CODE, ORIGIN and value breakdown in case of CFR or CIF.
- Copy Freight invoice or freight statement on shipper letterhead if Incoterm EXW or FOB
- Copy of the Packing List.

- FXI numeric reference:
The FXI reference is issued to the importer at the opening of the import license for the shipped goods. This number is used by the importer for import formalities at destination through the “Guichet Unique”
- BIVAC Code:
BIVAC code is required for goods with value > 2,500.00 USD
