Frabemar strengthens partnership with OGEFREM, the Council of Loaders of the DRC

Kinshasa / Genoa, Sept. 12, 2025 – From Sept. 8-12, Frabemar CEO Massimo Bernardini traveled to Kinshasa to meet with the management of OGEFREM (Office de Gestion du Fret Multimodal de la République Démocratique du Congo) with the aim of consolidating the partnership with the Congolese institution.

OGEFREM, in addition to managing multimodal traffic, plays an institutional role as the Conseil des Chargeurs de la République Démocratique du Congo (Council of Loaders of the DRC), charged with protecting the interests of Congolese importers and exporters and ensuring the traceability of goods from origin. A strategic function for national logistics and international supply chain actors.

During the meetings, operational issues, tariff regulations, process transparency, and cooperation tools were discussed in depth. The shared goal was to strengthen a stable and lasting cooperation between Frabemar and OGEFREM, based on mutual trust and a common vision for the development of international trade in the DRC.

The mission concluded on Friday, September 12, with the signing of the contract by Frabemar’s CEO as the agent mandated to issue the FERI (Fiche Électronique de Renseignements à l’Importation), a mandatory document for all sea and air shipments bound for the Democratic Republic of Congo.

With this important renewal, Frabemar reaffirms its commitment as a reliable partner for Italian and international companies active along the trade corridor with the DRC, offering operational support through its port agents, such as SHIPPERSDOC, for the proper regularization of shipments.
